About Trimmer
The free Trimmer keeps only the part of a video or an audio file you want. Drop an MP4, MOV, WebM, MP3, WAV or M4A, drag the two markers along the timeline, play the selection to check it, and cut. Precise mode cuts on the exact frame; Instant mode cuts without re-encoding, so the quality and the format stay exactly as they were.

Frequently asked questions
Does trimming reduce the quality?
In Instant mode, not at all: the streams are copied as they are. In Precise mode the kept part is re-encoded at a high quality setting that is visually the same as the source.
Why does an Instant cut start a little early?
A video can only begin on a keyframe without being re-encoded. Use Precise mode when the first frame must be exact.
Can I trim an MP3?
Yes — MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG and Opus files can be trimmed, with an optional fade in and out.
Is the Trimmer free?
Yes — trimming is completely free and requires no account.
