About Video Editor
The free Video Editor is a timeline in your browser: a video track for your clips and photos, an audio track for music and sounds. Split a clip at the playhead, drag its edges to trim it, drag it to reorder, set each volume, preview it live, then export one MP4 in 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 or 16:9. Your project is saved as you go.
How it works
-
1
Drop your media
Clips, photos and music — several at once, straight off a phone is fine. They land on the timeline in order.
-
2
Edit on the timeline
Split, trim, reorder, set the volume and the frame, and watch the result live.
-
3
Export
Get one MP4, or send it straight to another tool. The project stays saved.
Frequently asked questions
Is my project saved?
Yes — every change is saved to your project as you make it. Open it again from “My projects”.
Can I mix vertical and horizontal clips?
Yes — every clip is brought to the frame you pick: cropped to fill it, shown whole over a blurred copy of itself, or shown whole with black bars.
Can I add music?
Yes — drop an MP3, M4A or WAV on the audio track, place it, trim it and set its volume. It mixes with the sound of your clips.
Is the Video Editor free?
Yes — editing and exporting is free.
